Tip #1: Use quality ingredients

Ingredients are a vital part of crafting a perfect gourmet burger. The key difference between a fast-food burger and a gourmet burger is the quality of the meat. You might use good beef for a fast-food burger, but if you want to raise it to a gourmet burger standard, you have got to use quality beef. Search for the best meat. You can either create your own blend or get your local go-to butcher to create a unique blend.

Some chefs prefer adding a little brisket into the blend. Some prefer adding a mix of fatty and lean parts into the blend to give their meat patty that added juiciness. Quality meat does not equate to expensive prime cuts. While they are a great cut of meats, they are not necessary for making burgers. At our restaurant, we source only the best and freshest quality meat: Wagyu and Angus beef from America and fresh broiler chicken that is delivered fresh from a local farm daily. Many chefs have their secret seasoning methods; some create their own unique blend of herbs and spices, while some use a small bottle of saltwater spray to salt the meat when cooking evenly. Our unique flavours come from the charcoal we use to grill the patties, as well as our own mix of seasonings.
